Version 3.55 of LogiQuest has been released with a new Dataset - Stock on Hand (SOH), which shows the approximate stock availability of select items in DLA warehouses. Also minor updates have been made to the Displays of the AEL, APL, AWARDS, DODAAF and WPS Datasets.

Version 3.50 of LogiQuest has been released with new features and improvements. A few of these include: a new Dataset HMDF (Hazardous Material Data File); enhancements to the CAGE Dataset to include SAM (System for Awards Database) information, with the legacy CCR information now in the new Dataset CCRHIST.

Additional support for the "Edge" browser in Windows 10.

Version 3.40 of LogiQuest has support for: a new Single Tab Display of all of the FLIS data segments; the FLIS Management display now has a Price History Chart; the Single Tab modes of FLIS, AEL and APL have a right-click menu to aid in navigating the various segment frames.

Batch Search now allows exact matching (including punctuation) for Part Numbers. Classic Plus Search now has an operator drop-down for indexes like RNCC and RNVC.

Version 3.30 of LogiQuest supports new browser features for Chrome, Firefox and IE 10+; and the direct cross-referencing of NIINs is now available throughout the application.

Version 3.20 of LogiQuest improvements include: the CAGE database now has cross-reference tabs to other databases related to the selected CAGE, DoDAACs can now be right-clicked for additional information, Scan & Filter now supports multiple terms and all secondary NIINs can now be clicked for direct cross-referencing.

Version 3.10 of LogiQuest has two new Datasets: Navy Issuances and the DLA’s "Qualified Products Database". In addition, there are performance enhancements to APL and AEL displays, and a few minor bug fixes.

Version 3.00 of LogiQuest has been released with a new Search Option - Form Query. This new direct entry search is accessed from the Search Menu or Ctrl+3 shortcut. This can be made the default search mode from the Options -> Preferences menu by setting the "Preferred Search Mode"

Version 2.31 of LogiQuest has been released enhancing the support for searching simultaneously across a group of datasets with the ablity for users to define their own personal search groups.

A new Preferred Source indicator has been added for companies that may qualify on only a subset of their NAICS

Version 2.20 of LogiQuest has been released with enhanced Keyboard Navigation. Support for searching simultaneously across a group of datasets and direct linking of NIINs between datasets.

More BIZOPPS reporting sources. The Marine equivalent of the ILS Aviation Parts Database complete with Turbo-Linking and the H3 database (Ammunition Codes) as a separately searchable database are now available.

Excel 2007 format workbook downloads are now supported. This removes the 64,000 row restriction and allows worksheets with up to 1,000,000 rows each!

Version 2.10 of LogiQuest has been released with enhanced Batch Search displays. Data Views can now quickly Expand/Collapse using a right-click.

Keywords and FSCs have been added to BIZOPPS tracking lists. Also, new displays for BIZOPPS that are now broken out by reporting source; and the Awards Display has new details - "Line item information". New search indexes (SMR and SSRC) have been added to APL/AEL.

April 10, 2010

Version 2.00 of LogiQuest has been released with support for multiple browsers including: Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera 10.50. In addition to the major versions of Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8.

Also, four new datasets are available with information from EPLS - Excluded Parties List Service, FLIS Schedule B - Export Commodity Classification Service, MSD - Materiel Support Division, and Historical Work Unit Code. Greater Than (>) and Less Than (<) support has been added to the criteria refinement in Technical Characteristics searching.

Sideways scrolling tabs have been replaced by multi-row tabs and a tree structured “Data Views” list has been added to accommodate the growing list of Databases/Data Views.

Version 1.95 of LogiQuest has been released with new datasets SPMIG - Standard PMS Materials Identification Guide, and GIDEP – Discontinued Parts Notices.

New preferences have been added to support: the default search mode, the default sorting options for FLIS Part Order display, and saving the GIDEP login information.

Version 1.94 of LogiQuest has been released with a new dataset Where Used, to explore where a NIIN is used. Also, the WUC display has been enhanced with a Treeview.

Version 1.93 of LogiQuest has been released with two new databases: WUC Work Unit Codes, and the other containing Supplemental Technical Information, which enhances the PID Text with Supplemental Procurement Information.

Version 1.92 of LogiQuest has been released with three new databases: Awards Information, MSDS Material Safety Data Sheets, and PAM25_30 Army Tech Manuals.

Version 1.91 of LogiQuest has been released with Technical Documentation packages added to BIZOPPS. These include drawings and other documentation; any C4 and TIFF format drawings have been converted to PDF for more convenient display and printing. Also, BIZOPPS has Specs & Standards references now added to the displays.

An administration utility has been added. This allows an account administration to control user ids within his/her domain; and users may now register their own LogiQuest User Ids

May 9, 2008

Version 1.90 of LogiQuest has been released with new customizing features. BIZOPPS now allows Solicitations to be tracked by CAGE and NAICS codes as well as NIINs. The search results in BIZOOPS now indicate "set asides" and "fast award" opportunities.

FLIS Part Order preferences have added various sorting options. Up to three levels of sort may now be specified. These include: Matches First, RNCC/RNVC Pair Priority, Preferred Vendors/Veterans, and Current/Historical.

Version 1.81 of LogiQuest has been released. The Government Solicitations Dataset has been enhanced and has been relabeled. Now CAGE codes associated with “preferred vendors” of many types can be flagged. By default all preferences are enabled, but they can be controlled through Options/Preferences.

Icons will appear in the following display grids: CAGE Result List, FLIS Part Order Result List, FLIS Part Number grid, all three CAGE tabs, Company Info grids in Procurement and BIZOPPS. Right-Clicking an icon will display the preferences associated with the CAGE

December 28, 2007

Version 1.80 of LogiQuest has been released. The APL/AEL display tabs now include the “Additional Header Information” from on the first tab. The right-click pop-up for CAGE/FSC/INC now includes an option to see the record's complete display.

A “hot-link” has been added to the NIIN right-click menu which takes you to the DoD eMall. Similarly a “hot-link” has been added to the Part Number, Item Name, as well as the NIIN right-click menus which takes you to the GSA Advantage web store. This feature may also be accessed through the “Search” menu. The search menu link passes your entire search (or no search) to the GSA site.

Version 1.79 of LogiQuest has been released with support for solicitation tracking by NIIN.

  1. Right click on any NIIN to add it to your tracking list.
  2. Options/Preferences allow you to set notification email addresses and choose report formats.
  3. A NIIN list editor has been added: From either the right click menu or the toolbar select “Edit Tracking Lists”. An editor will open that allows you to manage your NIIN list. NIINs may be deleted, made active/inactive, and commented.

Version 1.77 of LogiQuest has been released with a new Drawings Dataset. Initially this contains drawings from three DSCC sources: DSCC Drawings, Standard Microcircuit Drawings, and Vendor Drawings. Decodes and Definitions have been added for CAGE & MRIL. And the D049 has been reorganized as an end-item style database with a new display form.

Version 1.76 of LogiQuest has been released with Scan & Filter support added to SL6 and D049. A new data segment has been added to the AEL and APL Datasets and they now have Cross-Reference Tabs available for RICs that explictly reference an NSN.

Version 1.75 of LogiQuest has been released with new Dataset SL6 containing information on the Marine Corp. Stock Lists. Also, there are now Decodes and Defines for the fields and acronyms on the CAGE and CCR tabs.

Version 1.74 of LogiQuest has been released with four new Datasets: DODISS with information on DoD Standards & Specifications; BIDLIST containing Recent Government RFQs; and two ILS Datasets to search ILS's Parts Availability and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Providers data.

Also, two new Download Types are now supported for MS Access MDB files and MS Excel Workbooks, with the download definitions enhanced for presentation in ACCESS and EXCEL.

Version 1.61 of LogiQuest has been released with a few more minor bug fixes. Support has been added for an option to have each record to start on a new page in a report PDF (see Page-Break on Record Change checkbox).

Version 1.60 of LogiQuest has been released with minor bug fixes and small speed enhancements. Support for Batch options has been added to Preferences, and the column headers of the grids on the FLIS Part List tab have been expanded in order to better indicate which are the Reference Number Codes.

Version 1.5 of LogiQuest has been released with many new features and enhancements. See the Release Notes available from the Help Menu for the complete details, but some the highlights follow.

LogiQuest now has AEL and APL available in the Cross-Reference Tabs, with the ability to preview and refine the multiple matching AEL/APL RICs.

The improvements to the Cross-Reference Tabs allow the order of the NIIN Cross-Reference Tabs to be set in Preferences, and the Search Tab and the Active Tab will stay visible when scrolling the Tabs.

A new layout for batch options and a new option to Filter the Results to exact matches to the search terms; particularly useful for part number searches. The download options can now be changed at the time of retrieving a completed batch job.

There are now Decode lookups for the embedded grids. AEL/APL AMDF and LIRSH now have the right-mouse decode definition popup like in FLIS.

Version 1.40 of LogiQuest has been released, adding the WPS - Weapons System Data File and a new Procurement layout. Also a Part Order View has been added for FLIS. More Service Oriented search indexes were added to the FLIS Dataset, with a new organizational structure for the Search Keys in the Classic Plus Interactive Search view.
